What Screen Verdict is for

Screen Verdict helps readers understand what a film or series is trying to do, how well its creative choices work and who is most likely to value the result. Our promise—“Reviews, ratings, and what’s worth watching”—is a commitment to useful judgment rather than hype, popularity claims or unverified availability information.

The published catalogue

The current catalogue contains twelve movies and eight television series selected to establish a varied editorial foundation across genres, countries, eras and audiences. Each title has a factual profile and a dedicated spoiler-conscious review. Directory pages for genres, years and credited people are generated from those approved records.

How we review

Reviews separate verifiable facts from critical interpretation and consider story, acting, direction, visual presentation, music and sound. Each review identifies its scope, avoids unnecessary spoilers and includes content guidance intended to help readers decide whether the work suits them.

What the scores mean

The overall score is a ten-point editorial judgment, supported by sub-scores for story, acting, direction, visuals and music. Scores summarize the published argument; they are not mathematical averages, audience polls or claims of universal quality. A high score does not mean a title will suit every viewer.

Editorial independence

Screen Verdict chooses its coverage and reaches its verdicts independently. Reviews are not sold, studios and distributors do not approve editorial conclusions, and no title receives a favorable score in exchange for access, payment or promotion. Any material conflict that could reasonably affect trust must be disclosed with the relevant article.

Publisher and responsibility

Screen Verdict is owned and published by F11 Software Lab (Private) Limited. The publisher is responsible for the website, its editorial standards and corrections. Film and series titles, company names and trademarks remain the property of their respective owners.
